Local Voices
In order to gauge how well local agencies are meeting local needs we need to have some way of communicating effectively with the public on issues of local importance. Most public sector agencies have specific processes for community consultation and user involvement. These processes allow the public to identify local priorities and and help agencies to monitor the quality of the services they provide. Local voluntary and community organisations provide vital links with vulnerable residents and 'hard to reach' communities and ensure that the voices of all residents are heard.

The purpose of this page is to bring together the key messages from recent public consultation exercises in both North and North East Lincolnshire. This should help LSP partners to keep abreast of resident's priorities, identify opportunities for joint work and share skills and knowledge. In 2004 Communities Count completed a summary report of local consultations. This includes information on the scope, frequency, aims, methods, costs and outcomes of recent surveys, as well as a summary of key findings. Both reports can be accessed as PDF documents below. These files are quite large and may take a few minutes to download on to your PC.
